Love is Kind

David said to one of Saul's servants, “I want to show kindness to someone from Saul's family. Is anyone still alive?” The servant said, “Yes, Jonathan's son—the one whose feet were injured—is still alive.” Kindness seeks to do good regardless of the ill-treatment received from another. David's friendship with Jonathan outweighed all the harm his father had caused him through the years. In the same way, God shows his kindness to us regardless of how we have acted towards him past, present or future. In the same manner, we must bear this fruit of kindness in our lives so that we do not hinder our walk because of bitterness. Galatians 5:22-23 is clear...it is a fruit of the Spirit... But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law. Praying the soil of your heart is being prepared to bear this fruit for others to enjoy. Always be kind and remain fruitful. Keeping it 100!
